Deer tend to avoid Milkweed due to its milky interior. Plant native Milkweed to support Monarchs!

2. MEXICAN HAT

This pretty wildflower has a strong odor that repels deer. It blooms all summer and is easy to grow from seed.

3. BLACK EYED SUSAN

This popular plant isn't so popular with deer thanks to its fuzzy leaves. However, pollinators love it!

4. SAGE (SALVIA)

There are lots of great native Salvia species that deer tend to avoid thanks to their strong smell. However bees love them!
